In addition to the permanent and temporary exhibitions, you can enhance your visit with a stop at our cozy museum café. Here, you can relax and enjoy a wide selection of lunch dishes, freshly ground coffee and tea, local treats like the Zeeuwse Bolus, and a variety of ice creams. The museum offers everything for an inspiring and relaxing day, where history and hospitality come together.

Opening Hours
Winter Season (November 1, 2024, to February 23, 2025)
Wednesday: Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Please note: Access to the museum is possible until 4:00 PM
Summer Season (February 24, 2025, to October 31, 2025)
Tuesday to Saturday: Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
In July and August: also open on Mondays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Group Visits
Groups of 25 people or more can also visit the museum on other days, except Sundays and evenings. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Hier bekommt man auch die kleinen Geschichten des 2. Weltkrieg näher gebracht. Auch hier kann man sehen das man nicht Stumpf zwischen Gut und Böse einteilen darf. Die gab es auf beiden Seiten. Aber ein ganz tolles Lob an den Guide. Er hat sich eine dreiviertel Stunde für mich Zeit genommen und mir Geschichten zu den Exponaten und zur Besatzungszeit in einem sehr guten deutsch erzählt. Wat een verrassend mooi museum! We zijn hartelijk ontvangen en met een uitgebreide toelichting konden we aan de bezichtiging beginnen. Dit museum is met liefde ingericht door mensen die er verstand van hebben. Het overzicht van de museumstukken en de bijbehorende verhaallijn, geeft een goed en compleet beeld van de gebeurtenissen indertijd. Zelden hebben wij een dergelijk goed en complete collectie gezien. De gebeurtenissen worden vanuit de Nederlandse en de Duitse kant belicht en uitgebreid toegelicht met foto’s, beeldmateriaal en getuigenissen van de overlevenden. Ook het schrijnende een aangrijpende lot van de Nederlands Zeeuwse Joodse bevolking wordt uitgebreid verteld.
