Monthly Museum Treasure
The Liberation Museum Zeeland has an impressive and constantly growing collection of stories, objects, documents, and images about the history of the province of Zeeland during World War II. Although only a small part of this collection is physically displayed in the museum, we would like to share more of these valuable items with you.
To make a broader part of our collection accessible, we present a new object online each month. This “Object of the Month” presentation offers an in-depth look at a specific item from our collection, accompanied by the stories and context that make it so special.
This monthly highlight allows us to:
- Share Unique Objects: You get the chance to see items that are not normally displayed in the permanent exhibition.
- Tell Stories: Each object comes with a story that enriches our knowledge and understanding of World War II in Zeeland.
- Expand Collection Knowledge: By presenting these objects, we can also share new insights and discoveries that come from our ongoing research.
