The threat of discovery by the Germans, who were actively searching for such transmitters, was ever-present. Users of these transmitters faced the death penalty if discovered, making the work of these resistance members both thrilling and extremely dangerous.

This homemade transmitter was used by the resistance on Noord-Beveland as an essential communication tool. In 2019, the son of Jo de Regt donated this transmitter to the Bevrijdingsmuseum Zeeland. This donation allows the public to experience this unique artifact, which provides a direct link to the courageous actions of the Dutch resistance during the war. The transmitter offers a tangible connection to the past and highlights the invaluable contribution of individuals like Jo de Regt to the liberation of the Netherlands.
