Become a Volunteer
The Bevrijdingsmuseum Zeeland operates almost entirely on volunteers who work with heart and soul to maintain the museum. Because there is so much work to be done, we can always use some extra help. Each year, just before the start of the museum season in April, we train a number of new people.
What our volunteers do
Our volunteers greet visitors with great involvement and knowledge, give tours, supervise, and share beautiful, personal stories. Additionally, they maintain the buildings and grounds. There is also a small group of volunteers involved in restoration work.
Flexibility and Versatility
We are particularly looking for flexible people who can be deployed in various roles. The majority of the work involves staffing the entrance desk, performing steward duties, and working in our museum café.
